Hello! Sizzix Product Designer Jennifer Ogborn here to share with you the inspiration behind Sizzix Summer Lantern ( 665904)!

Brightening up any occasion, this easy-to-make Summer Lantern Bigz Die is perfect for summer parties. Any gathering is an excuse to decorate loudly and proudly, and this die won’t disappoint!

By drawing the basic lantern shape, I played around with different edges to see what would work best with the design. I think the scallops give the overall look a soft, but fun effect, don’t you?
