At the very heart of Sizzix Studio is a tool you may already know and love - our Sizzix Stencil & Stamp Tool. Under the Studio line, we've simply given it a new name - the Registration Press Tool - along with a fresh new look.
What takes this beloved tool to the next level - both literally and figuratively - is the new Hinge Adapter which allows you to easily combine your tool with thicker materials. Now, stamping and stenciling using journals, canvases, sketchbooks and other dimensional surfaces is easy, allowing for a wider mix of creative expression.
But that's not all. We have reimagined tool sets that mixed media fanatics and aspiring artists alike would want to reach for again and again, from brayers and palette knives, mats and foam heads - and these too have become an integral part of the Studio line.
We have partnered with established and influential mixed media artists to design beautiful and imaginative layered stencil and stamp sets which offer endless self-expression, taking the fear out of getting started with mixed media art.

GET TO KNOW LICENSED ARTIST CAT KERR
Cat Kerr is a mixed-media artist based in Central Florida. As a full-time artist, she constantly explores new techniques and mediums to broaden her skills and knowledge. Cat is a licensed designer with over 80 products, teaches workshops, and works as an independent contractor with some of the top companies in the arts and crafts industry. Cat’s work has been featured in over 80 national and international publications since 2011, and is proud to have had her projects featured on five magazine covers.
"I love making art accessible. Finding ways to help other artists create within their work is such a privilege. Sizzix is such a unique company because of the tools that they offer artists. The Registration Tool blew my mind – offering a way to preemptively plan and for it’s methodical placement capabilities. When they asked me to create stamps and stencils for them, I was over the moon!"

Vic Hollins is a professional illustrator and mixed-media artist based in Tucson, Arizona. With a strong foundation in the arts, Vic holds a BFA degree with a specialization in illustration. Her artistic journey has been profoundly influenced by the captivating beauty of the desert, intricate patterns, and a vibrant color palette. As an Art Ambassador for Royal Talens since 2016, Vic’s impact reaches beyond her hometown - she has traveled all over, sharing her expertise through workshops, and demonstrations.
"Mixed Media is a random art form. It takes a little bit from this and a little bit from that, and fine-tuning is in the final stages of creating. When I first heard which products would be included in the sets, I thought, this kit will offer everything a creative needs to design a layered, textured piece of art. I would love makers to use these products as an endless source of inspiration while also keeping in mind that they pair well with other Sizzix Studio designs.”
