GET TO KNOW THE DIMENSIONAL DIFFUSER

With the NEW Dimensional Diffuser, it’s never been easier to create your own diffused flat area on embossed cardstock, perfect for adding sentiments to cards, journals, scrapbook pages and more.

PERSONALIZED PLACEMENT


Place the void in one of three areas with a movable plate - top, bottom or middle - which locks into place for perfect precision

PRECISION POSITIONING


The three fixed positions are ideal for batchmaking, where set positioning is required on multiple projects.

TWO WAYS TO EMBOSS


Choose soft, faded edges with a single pass or use a second pass with the diffused insert piece for sharp defined edges.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN


Comfortable finger grips at the top and bottom allows you to easily move the plates through the frame.

create your first diffused embossed design

  • Step 1


    Lightly holding the frame by the finger grips, slide the Base Plate into the Frame using the track system (raised bumps facing outwards) and align to center notch.

  • Step 2


    Cut your paper to size and place into the A6 3D or Multi-Level Embossing Folder. Place the Embossing Folder into the Frame, resting on top of the Base Plate.

  • Step 3


    Slide the Diffuser Plate into the Frame using the track system (raised bumps facing outwards). There are notches along the side which allow you to choose the placement of your diffused area.

  • Step 4


    Sandwich the entire Dimensional Diffuser between 2 cutting plates and roll through your die-cutting machine*.

  • Step 5


    Remove the Diffuser Plate and the Embossing Folder from the Frame and remove the embossed paper from the Embossing Folder.

  • Step 6


    Spritz the embossed paper with clean water and place it back in the Frame (without the Embossing Folder).

  • Step 7


    Slide the Diffuser Plate back into the Frame using the track system and align to previous notch position.

  • Step 8


    Align embossed paper so that the diffused emboss is directly below the voided area on the Diffuser Plate. Place the Diffuser Insert into the void on the Diffuser Plate.

  • Step 9


    Sandwich the entire Dimensional Diffuser between 2 cutting plates and roll through your machine again.

  • Step 10


    Remove the Insert and slide out the Diffuser Plate. Remove the embossed paper and admire the finished result!
*The Dimensional Diffuser is compatible with the Big Shot, Big Shot Plus, Big Shot Foldaway, Big Shot Switch Plus or Big Shot Express.
